We have had quite a bit of down time - over 3 weeks, for various reasons. We're back on the open road today but we've got a few good pictures from our stay at S's place.
But first... these were taken a while ago; they're too good not to post. We met R and his wife V our second day in Florida.
Olive, as usual, doing her job to make everyone feel happier/more at ease...

Olive gained weight over the last few weeks when Harvey was away - something like 10 pounds. Not having to run 15 miles/day helped but Hannah also thought it was 2.5 to 3 pounds of food per day (the usual is 1.5 pounds or so). Some weight gain is good; she's now getting 2 lbs/day.
Meadow has been losing weight around her spine. Maybe it's because of poor saddle fit, maybe back pain, maybe she simply hasn't had enough calories. So her feeding time has been upped, we're in search of a custom saddle, and a horse chiropracter in Mobile is going to work out any kinks she can find.
